Description
Sierra Wireless EM9191 5G modem in the M.2 3052 form factor, compatible with the EchoPilot AI hardware (Rev1 or newer).
Requires Qty 2 2×2 MIMO antennas with I-PEX MHF4L connectors. Embedded antenna options include:
- Taoglas FXUB71.A.54.C.001 (Qty 2)
- Taoglas MAT.176A
- Taoglas MAT.176C
- Other antennas covering 4G/5G bands with I-PEX MHF4L connectors. See the EM9191 datasheet for antenna advice.
In most applications, we recommend incorporating a heat management solution which consists of the following:
- Thermal Pad between the modem and Carrier Board: Panasonic EYG-T7070A15A (cut to fit)
- 14x14mm heatsink mounted on Carrier Board: CUI HSB03-141406
- Heatsink Adhesive: MG Chemicals 8329TFF-25ML
If the modem is ordered at the same time as the EchoPilot AI, we will install the thermal solution above prior to shipping unless you direct us not to.
