EchoMAV products are designed to build secure next-generation unmanned systems

We provide profession resources for advanced uncrewed systems.

EchoMAV is at the forefront uncrewed vehicle development, offering advanced edge computed, multi-modal communication platforms, hybrid power systems and more. We are now offering select US-made solutions for  UxV manufactures to integrate into their own products.

EchoMAV’s EchoPilot AI modules merge five components that have become critical for nearly all advanced UxV applications.

  • Command/Control: The EchoPilot AI uses an integrated flight management unit based on the Pixhawk open hardware design. We use industrial-rated components and high-end temperature stable, triple redundant IMUs and a military-grade RM3100 compass to provide the best in performance, stability and reliability.
  • Compute: The EchoPilot AI includes an integrated Nvidia Jetson companion computer tightly integrated to the FMU. Adding up to 100 TOPS of compute power onboard the platform enables multi-channel video encoding (h.265 or h.264 hardware acceleration), computer vision, collision avoidance, obstacle detection, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Communication: The EchoPilot AI module is designed to work with professional radio solutions from Persistent Systems, Silvus Technologies and Microhard. Additionally, the EchoPilot AI works with USB3 5G LTE modems as well as direct compatibility with Iridium 9603 satcom modules from Rockblock.
  • RemoteID: An onboard RemoteID subsystem supports information broadcast over WiFi or Bluetooth, and interfaces with the FMU over CAN. This module is compatible with open-source software solutions including ArduRemoteID.
  • Advanced INS Support: The EchoPilot AI provides optional integration of an external INS system from VectorNav. The VN-200 or 300 series is recommended and provides an integrated GNSS receiver, high-end IMU performance and the ability to provide position state estimation for 45+ seconds even if GNSS is lost.

By using the low-SWaP EchPilot AI module, UxV manufacturers and integrators are now able to focus less on electronic subsystem integration and software development and more on vehicle design, dynamics and specific use case applications.  The EchoPilot AI provides a US-based secure, scalable and reliable platform with access to advanced communication pathways needed for computational intensive tasks, comms-denied or BLOS operations.

Security

Our vehicle control modules (e.g.EchoPilot AI) are made in the USA and therefore NDAA section 848 compliant. The hardware and our recommend communication solutions support encryption and authentication for each data stream. Our products are compatible with virtual private networks (VPN) and have been tested with OpenVPN and N2N.

All of our products are designed, manufactured and assembled in the USA.

MANet Radio Compatibility

EchoMAV’s EchoPilot AI module is compatible with MANet radios from Pesistent Systems, Doodle Labs, Silvus Technologies, and Microhard. Our technology can be easily integrated into your existing MANet radio infrastructure.

Edge Computing

EchoMAV’s EchoPilot AI Module includes a powerful embedded Linux companion computer from Nvidia. We offer simple instructions for leveraging open source tools to provide advanced telemetry streaming and video encoding, and of course give you full root access for user applications. Using the MAVLink stream from the FMU, you can easily gain access to on board sensors, telemetry. Building your own software from scratch or leveraging tools like ROS ensure you can scale rapidly.

Ruggedized

All of our products are designed for industrial temperature ranges of -40 to 85°C. We provide thermal dissipation and engineering guidance to ensure your end solution will operate in any environment.

Primed for Integration

We provide turn-key solutions which enable vehicle manufacturers and integrators to quickly build state-of-the-art, secure unmanned systems with advanced features including BLOS communications, h.264/5 video encoding, professional-grade sensors and flight management unit, and a wide variety of interfaces including USB 3, USB2, Ethernet, I2C, UART, WiFi, Bluetooth, SPI, MIPI/CSI and more. We leverage open-source projects when it makes sense, but do so only after vetting and operational testing prior to offering this software to our customers.

Ready for the Future

With on-board computing, an extensible radio interface, and intrinsic support for cooperative vehicle networks (swarms), mesh networking, and edge computing. our products are ready to be used as the foundational solution for future UxV applications.
