MK1 VTOL UAS

The MK1 is a durable, long range, vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAS designed and engineered for simplified deployment and ease of use. A hybrid gas/electric powerplant with an on-board charging and power generation system ensures batteries are always fully charged. Only a quick refuel is required between missions and the aircraft is ready for the next flight. No elaborate ground support systems required. The modular airframe allows for diverse payload configurations and cost-effective maintenance.

HYBRID POWER

Revolutionary hybrid power plant provides long-persistence flight (up to 8 hours) while generating electricity for VTOL takeoff and landings. The system includes an electric starter/generators.

POWERFUL COMPUTE

With up to 100 TOPS of onboard compute power and our EchoPilot AI control system, the MK1 provides unparalleled support for sensor processing and storage, AI/ML algorithms, computer vision tasks and more.

ADVANCED GNSS/INS

EchoMAV’s proprietary GNSS system provides L1 and L2 coverage with integrated satellite correction receiver. The system achieves centimeter-level accuracy without a separate RTK base station. An optional 8-channel CRPA and INS system provides unmatched immunity against GNSS jamming or interference.

CLOUD CONNECTIVITY

EchoMAV’s patented MAVNet system provides global cloud connectivity over LTE and/or Satcom. Our proprietary web-based software enables global control and video distribution using only your web browser.

GROUND CONTROL

The EchoMAV Ground Control System (GCS) provides intuitive operation, autonomous mission planning and sophisticated payload control in a rugged handheld controller.

SURVEILLANCE AND RECONNAISSANCE

Our standard ISR payload provides a 360° stabilized gimbal with 80x zoom and 1280×720 thermal imager.

Link Range

From 10 to 100+ mi. (16 to 160 km) depending on GCS configuration. GCS options include handheld, sector and parabolic tracking antennas. The default radio is the Persistent Systems MPU5. Other radio integrations are available.

Maximum takeoff weight: 40 lbs. (18 kg). Typical takeoff weight is 28 lbs. (12.7 kg)

Pre-mix gasoline, 40:1 gas/oil. Capacity 1.5 US Gal (5.6 L).

-15° to 120° F (-10° to 50° C). Can be flown in light rain. Maximum rated wind speed 35 mph (56 km/h).

9,000 mAH 12S onboard Li-Ion. Automatically recharged during flight.

COMPLIANCE

The MK1 is proudly engineered and manufactured the USA. The system is NDAA Section 838 compliant.

The MK1 is compliant with Remote ID Rule 89 by supporting OpenDroneID, which implements ASTM F3411.
